Le acque termali d'Ischia si
sono veramente rivelate le "miniere d'oro" dell'isola e sfruttate
dal punto di vista turistico per merito soprattutto del Cavaliere
del Lavoro Angelo Rizzoli (1888-1970) che con la realizzazione di
grandi alberghi termali, determinò negli anni '50 e '60 il lancio di
Ischia nel firmamento turistico internazionale con il famoso slogan
"Ischia, l'isola dell'eterna giovinezza". Sull'isola si effettuano
terapie per la cura dei reumatismi, delle artriti, dell'obesità,
ginecologiche e del sistema nervoso. Le strutture alberghiere hanno,
di recente, sviluppato un turismo della salute e della bellezza con
gli health center, centri di terapia disintossicanti, di trattamenti
estetici che hanno suscitato l'interesse dei tour operator
americani. Soltanto su quest'isola si trovano i "giardini termali"
con piscine a differente gradazione, dai 28 ai 40 gradi, vicinissimi
al mare e in grado di consentire sia la cura tradizionale
balneo-fango-terapica, sia quella elio- marina. I maggiori complessi
di "giardini termali" si trovano a Casamicciola, con il parco "Castiglione";
a Lacco Ameno, con il "Negombo"; a Forio con i "Poseidon"; a Sant'Angelo
con i parchi "Tropical" e "Aphrodite"; ad Ischia con gli ",Eden". I
giardini termali aprono tutti ai primi di aprile e chiudono alla
fine di ottobre e sono frequentati da una clientela internazionale
di ogni età.
English The thermal waters of
Ischia have really become the gold mine of the island. Angelo
Rizzoli (Cavaliere del Lavoro 1888-1970) launched Ischia onto the
international tourist circuit in the 1950's and 60's by building
luxury hotels with spas included creating the slogan " Ischia the
island of eternal youth". Therapy for rheumatism, arthritis, obesity,
ginecological conditions and the nervous system are available on the
island. The hotel structures have recently developed a tourism of
health and beauty with health, disintoxication and beauty centers
which have created much interest in the American market. It is only
on Ischia that one can find thermal gardens with pools at different
temperatures, from 28 to 40 degrees centigrade, close to the sea and
allowing one to have various treatments. The lirgest thermal
complexes are in Casamicciola - "Castiglione", Lacco Ameno - "Negombo",
Forio "Poseidon", Sant'Angelo - "Tropical" & "Aphrodite" and Ischia
Porto "Edon". These complexes open early April and close end October
and are visited by an iritemational clientele of all age groups.
Deutsch Die Thermalquellen von
Ischia haben sich im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes als "Goldminen" für
die Insel erwiesen. Vor allem in der Zeit nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg
wurden diese "Goldminen" in touristischer Hinsicht genutzt. Dies ist
vor allem dem "Cavaliere del Lavoro" Angelo Rizzoli (1888-1970) zu
verdanken, der mit der Realisierung der großen Thermalhotels in
Lacco Ameno in den 50er und 60er Jahren begann und Ischia mit der
Verbreitung des Slogans "Ischia, Insel der ewigen Jugend" auf dem
internationalen Touristenrdarkt einführte. Die ischitanischen
Thermalwasser werden seit Jahrhunderten zur Heilung von Krankheiten
genutzt. Die Anfänge gehen zurück bis zur griechischen Ansiedlung im
8. und 7. Jahrhundert vor Christus. Die "Giardini termali" - die
Thermalgärten - machen das besondere der Insel aus. Auf einer
ge-pflegten Anlage kann man hier in Schwimmbecken mit verschiedenen
Gradabstufungen (von 28 - 40 Grad) kuren. Sie sind zudem nahe am
Meer gelegen und bieten unter anderem Kuranwendungen wie Fango und
Heliotherapie an. Die größten Thermalgärten befinden sich in
Casamicciola ("Castiglione"), Lacco Ameno ("Negombo"), Sant'Angelo
("Aphrodite" und "Tropical"), Ischia Ponte ("Edeng„rten") und Forio/Citara
("Poseidon"). Die Thermalgärten öffnen etwa ab April und sind bis
Ende Oktober zugänglich. Sie werden von einer internationalen
Kundschaft aller Altersstufen frequentiert.
